Homicide cleanup deals with the aftermath of a violent death – blood, bodily fluids, and any evidence-adjacent material left behind once law enforcement has released the scene. This work requires strict biohazard protocols, careful documentation, and a level of discretion that families going through this need most.
We get called by family members, property owners, or sometimes property managers in Saint Louis, MO after a homicide has occurred on their property and the investigation has concluded. This is almost always one of the hardest calls someone makes, and our job is to handle everything from that point so the family doesn't have to see or deal with the scene themselves.
We only begin work once law enforcement has formally released the scene. From there, we assess the full extent of contamination, contain the area, and remove any material that can't be safely decontaminated – flooring, drywall, furniture, whatever the incident affected. Everything is bagged and disposed of according to biohazard regulations. Remaining surfaces are disinfected with hospital-grade solutions, and we run odor treatment to address anything lingering once the physical cleanup is done.
Cost varies based on the size of the scene and how much material needs removal and replacement. Many states have victim compensation funds that cover homicide cleanup costs – we can help point you toward the right resources and provide documentation your claim may need.
If your Saint Louis, MO property needs homicide cleanup, call (833) 326-1718. We'll handle it with the care and discretion this situation calls for.
